Community rules
Be honest. Be kind. Be safe.
These are simple house rules for people, groups, organisations, schools and young people (with an adult). Questions: [email protected].
1. Be honest
Only log cleans you or your group really did. Use real before and after photos.
2. Be kind
No hate, bullying, spam or anything illegal. Talk to people the way you would face to face.
3. Photos
- Only keep a face visible if that person said yes. Otherwise blur it. The photo privacy tool can help.
- No photos of children without a parent or carer’s OK.
4. Young people
- Children and young people take part with an adult.
- Never use the site to arrange to meet a child.
5. Stay safe
- Wear gloves, and hi-vis near roads.
- Leave needles, sharp or dangerous things alone. Tell the council.
- Never put yourself at risk. In danger or someone hurt? Call 999.
- Groups: see the group pick guidelines.
6. Keep homes private
No house numbers or pins on anyone’s home. Use street or area names only.
7. Groups and organisations
Say who logged the clean. Only post for a group you really belong to.
8. Comments
- You can edit or delete your own comments.
- No phone numbers, addresses or other personal details.
- Cieran can remove comments and suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. Bigger jobs later
Jobs like road signs, paths or cutting back plants only happen with permission. Never on private land without the owner’s OK.
10. Checks
Cieran checks new public posts before they show on the website. Spot something wrong? Email [email protected] and it will be looked at.
