Ayrshire Cleans is run by Cieran. This page says what the website keeps and why. Questions: [email protected].

What we keep

Reporting a spot

The place, pin, notes and photo you send, and your contact details only if you add them. Reports show on the map only after they’re checked. Contact details are never shown.

Volunteer sign-up

Your name, email, area, and phone number if you add one. Used only to contact you about volunteering. Kept until you ask us to delete them.

Event replies

Your name and email for that event. Used only to tell you if the event changes. Deleted 2 days after the event.

Photos

Photos are made smaller and hidden data (like GPS location) is removed on your device before upload. Photos only become public after they’re checked.

Who can see it

Only Cieran and the people who help run Ayrshire Cleans, through a signed-in dashboard. We never sell or share your details.

Where it’s stored

With Cloudflare, the company that hosts this website. A backup copy may be kept so nothing is lost.

Cookies and visitor counts

No tracking or advertising cookies. Your settings (like dark mode) are saved on your own device only. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or follow you to other websites.

Some parts load from other services: map pictures (OpenStreetMap), fonts (Google Fonts) and the map tool (unpkg). Like any website, they can see your IP address.
